MSU Federal Credit Union is proud to partner with the Novi Public Library to make a positive community impact! Novi Public Library provides extensive community resources and programming to fuel youth development, community engagement, and lifelong learning.
MSUFCU announced a donation supporting the Novi Public Library at the Grand Opening event for a new branch in Novi, in October 2024. This funding benefits several key 2025 programs and projects to foster inclusion, financial literacy, community engagement, and innovation. Projects include a new welcome sign to be installed at the entrance of the library that will feature the words “welcome” and “read” in over 40 languages, an outreach program that delivers Library materials to older adult facilities and Read Boxes, and support for the iCube Makerspace.
MSUFCU’s partnership also supports the Novi Public Library’s Summer Songfest series, hosted June through September, and the Teen Space After-School Program. MSUFCU Senior Financial Educator DaVante Montgomery delivered two financial education programs through the Teen Space After-School Program featuring a Reality Check budgeting simulation and a workshop on building credit.
