Be a Resource
For Others

With the right know-how and resources, your big dreams can become a big reality! Learn about the expansive resources available to our members and community.

“People helping people” is the credit union philosophy and has helped guide MSUFCU and OU Credit Union’s community giving and involvement initiatives since our beginning in 1937. More than 85 years later, our community giving initiatives are still making a big impact in the communities we serve, through both Credit Union support and Foundation support from our philanthropic arm at the Desk Drawer Foundation.

Credit Union Support

You might be wondering how the two differ—Credit Union Support includes monetary sponsorship from the credit union itself, staffing for community events, or a trinket or giveaway for event attendees. This could also include funds generously raised by Credit Union employees through internal charity initiatives, the use of Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and more. Learn more about Credit Union Support on our blog.

Foundation Support

Foundation Support is tied to the Desk Drawer Foundation (DDF), the philanthropic arm of the Credit Union. Founded in 2019, DDF has provided over $3 million in grants to nonprofits where our members live and work. The foundation supports five philanthropic pillars— The Arts, Entrepreneurship, Financial Education, Stable Housing, and Youth Empowerment. Interested in making a donation?
